The rare Anisus vorticularis seems to have the preferred English name of Ramshorn snail, rather than 'Little Whirlpool Ramshorn'. Could this be resulting in incorrect records out of range for A vorticularis if the english name alone is entered, which could have been intended as a general ramshorn record at family level? Possibly a UKSI issue, so I have also mentioned on the NBN forum.
